Jennie is the President and co-founder of Compass Healthcare Consulting, a professional services firm that helps healthcare organizations improve operational and financial performance and to identify and manage regulatory and business risks. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Before devoting her work full time to Compass in 2013, she served for over 25 years in leadership and consulting roles in medical practice operations, revenue cycle and regulatory compliance, including the role of Chief Operating Officer of Tennessee’s largest independent physician organization. Jennie holds the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) credential from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and the Certified Coding Specialist-Physician from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and, in 2019, she served as an advisor to AHIMA in the development of the CCS-P coding certification exam.
